Clinical experience

A broad healthcare background.
A whole-person perspective.

Louise brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her practice, supporting people with pain, mental health, cognition and everyday functioning. Her work remains practical, collaborative and shaped around what matters to you.

Persistent pain & cancer care

Louise’s interest in pain psychology began at Oxford University Hospital Trust, where she specialised in delivering radiotherapy for cancer treatment. It was here that she first integrated psychological approaches as an essential part of supporting people with cancer-related pain.

Her experience in clinical oncology and radiotherapy includes supporting people with the anxiety, fatigue and distress that can accompany cancer care.

Neurological rehabilitation & cognition

Experience in stroke and neurological rehabilitation informs Louise’s work with cognition, memory and everyday functioning.

This brings an understanding of how changes in thinking, confidence or independence can affect daily life, and why practical support needs to be tailored to the individual.

Post-viral & musculoskeletal rehabilitation

Louise has worked within NHS post-viral services, specialising in Post Viral Syndrome, and in private musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

These settings have informed her understanding of the relationship between symptoms, emotional wellbeing, daily activities and rehabilitation.

Psychology & occupational therapy

Louise’s practice brings together psychological approaches with practical occupational therapy support for persistent pain, cognition, anxiety, depression and everyday functioning.

Her approach is rooted in her academic background and diverse healthcare experience, while remaining collaborative and centred on the person in front of her.
